Description of the wedge wire screen cylinder
Wedge wire screen cylinder is manufactured by a V or wedge shaped wire around an internal array of longitudinal support rods. Each intersection point of this wire is fusion welded. The V or wedge shaped profile wire wraps around the support rods over the full length of the screen creating a continuous slot opening. And the rod can be round wire, triangular wire or trapezoid wire. Due to using the newest welding technology we can obtain various distances between carrying wires, very accurate and repeatable gap, therefore wire wrapped screen products can be produced according to customer’s particular requirements.
And the wedge wire screen cylinder is made from stainless steel material or other alloy material. At the same time, Wedge wire screen have heat-resisting, anti-corrosive, good machine capability, last long, safety and reliability and so on characteristics. It can be used in many kinds of medium filtering, such as the sea water desalination, water softening treatment, oil and chemical processing; the alcohol and other organic solvents recycle filtration; the filtration for chemical acid and soda liquid and the terminal filtration for petrolic products.
